 FROM THE HEART OF THE WEDDING COORDINATOR  In this day and time we are living in it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet. Many couples are not getting married in the church because they can not afford the cost of the wedding and the cost of the wedding gown. Twenty-five years ago I was in the same boat as many brides today. A young bride engaged to be married, but not enough money to get the things I wanted and needed .I so desired to have a beautiful wedding dress to meet my husband to be at the alter. However it was just not in my budget to have one. So I did what I could and found a not so formal dress. The day of my wedding I woke and realized I had not thought about needing a slip under it. I was busted and had no extra money to purchase one. We were only having a few very close family members and one or two of our friends, so I had to postpone the wedding for several hours so I could find the money to buy a slip.I was so embarrassed and did not want to tell anyone that I could not even afford to buy a simple slip to go under my dress. Many brides are having hard times finding money to buy their dresses. My wedding almost did not happen that day. Here it is twenty-five years later and I am still married to my true love.  For this reason I have a goal to obtain used wedding attire, especially wedding gowns. So if you or someone you know has one they would like to donate please contact us and we will pay for the shipping cost. We will not charge any bride for using our wedding gowns. We just want to take off a major expense by providing gowns for those who can not afford to buy one.
